Annie Theresa

Annie Theresa holds a doctorate in education and English, together with three postgraduate degrees in English literature, history and pedagogy. That exceptional academic record is matched by more than forty years of practical experience in teaching, academic leadership and curriculum development, in India and in the United Arab Emirates.

Across a distinguished career she has guided learners from school through university, in varied multicultural and multilingual settings, creating stimulating learning environments, advancing academic excellence, and mentoring both students and teachers. Her expertise covers curriculum design, innovative pedagogy, and the professional development of teaching teams.

Her core pedagogical conviction, that language learning must be alive, anchored in reality and oriented towards use, sits at the heart of how English is taught at ESIP Primary. Collaboration, continuous professional development and the passing on of knowledge are central to her practice.

At ESIP Primary she teaches English across Pre-UKG and UKG, building the confidence and precision in the language that everything else in the curriculum rests on.
