Background
Francis Dassou is the founder of École du Savoir et de l'innovation de Pondichéry, established on the conviction that excellence is built where two worlds meet.
He set the primary school in motion on a straightforward argument: that an international education should not begin at eighteen. The group had already built a grande école; extending the same brief down to the first years of schooling was the logical next step rather than a departure.
As chairman he holds responsibility for the school's governance and for the standard it sets, and chairs the board to which the Principal reports.
